At the beginning of May, the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors ® held its WomenStrong event, gathering over 300 industry professionals, including over 40 First Weber Agents. Even though the Real Estate industry is predominantly female, women are underrepresented in leadership positions at both the brokerage and senior management levels. The goal of the GMAR’s WomenStrong event is to foster an environment for women to communicate, collaborate, advocate for, and support one another!
The Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS® was founded in 1892 to stabilize the real estate industry. Over 100 years later they are still going strong consisting of nearly 4,000 real estate professionals who conduct business throughout southeastern Wisconsin. The Association focuses its energy on government affairs, ethics enforcement, and multiple listing service.
