One of Oneida County’s premier lakes – Alva Lake – is located northwest of Rhinelander in both Cassian and Lake Tomahawk townships. Alva Lake is a crystal clear lake with 201 acres and a maximum depth of 36 feet. Walleye, Musky, and Bass are present in this lake with Panfish being abundant. Alva Lake is a beautiful lake for all your recreational needs and does provide a public boat landing.
