A new home for an injured Veteran

March 25, 2010

The Homes for our Troops Key Ceremony for Injured Veteran SPC Jason Schulz was held March 13, 2010. Homes for our Troops builds specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans. First Weber Group in Southeastern Wisconsin raised almost $11,000 for this project – $5000 from the First Weber Foundation and the rest from private fundraising primarily in First Weber’s Waukesha office.

Numerous First Weber Concierge Desk providers were involved in donating time and home related services to make this house a reality.  Carl Munkwitz, Concierge Services Manager, shares some pictures from the event.  Thanks also goes to Bob Larson and Roxanne Platz for organizing our team and to all who gave their time and money to show appreciation for the veterans who put their lives in danger for us here at home.
Please join us in wishing Jason and his family many happy years in their new home!
