The First Weber real estate office in West Bend is getting things in order to provide all of the food necessary for families of the Washington County Boys and Girls Club prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner at home. In the first year of this project, First Weber agents provided meals for 10 families. In six short years thanks to the generosity of so many people and the enthusiasm First Weber has for this program, the project grew to 175 families in 2011. Increased needs, growing membership and the addition of a new club in Hartford find First Weber with a 2012 goal of feeding 250 families. The cost to provide the food is approximately $40.00 per family.
Anyone wishing to contribute to this event may do so by sending a check payable to First Weber Foundation. The First Weber Foundation will match up to $2500.00 in raised funds. Checks can be mailed to 1720 Clarence Court West Bend, WI 53095 Attn: Kim Behling. Donations need to be received no later than November 9th.
