Wisconsin real estate sales continue to rebound, prices rise

The sale of existing homes increased 18% this May, compared with May of last year.  That is the 23rd month of positive news and growth in Wisconsin home sales. Median price also grew 4.3% to a statewide median price of $144,000.

 

The number of Wisconsin home sales year to date is 25,651.  That is A LOT of real estate.

“There’s no doubt consumer demand has been strong over the last couple years, but now we’re also seeing sellers jump back into the market as well,” said Renny Diedrich, Chairman of the Wisconsin Realtors Association Board of Directors.

Sales up 11.8%, Median sales up 6.3%

Sales up 15.7%, Median sales price up 4.9%

Northwoods Wisconsin real estate statistics

Sales up  20.3%, Median sales price down 13%
