First Weber Foundation does good all over Wisconsin

June 18, 2013

The First Weber Foundation, for the 5th year, was a major sponsor of the Komen Race for the Cure in Madison on June 1st. There were 16 members on the Foundation team this year and over 7000 participants in the race. The goal for this year was to raise $280,000 for breast cancer research and they are still collecting donations so the final tally has not come yet! Thanks to all who joined us in support of this great organization and supporting all of survivors.

The First Weber Foundation is also sponsoring the ALS Association’s Walk to defeat ALS in October 13, 2013 in Greenfield Park.  Presenting the sponsorship check is Curt Downes, Brookfield office, who has participated in the chapter with his mother, founder of the local ALS Association chapter, since a family death from ALS.
