Our congratulations are extended to Nancy K. Smith (Dodgeville and Manager of the Southwest region) who will be honored as Volunteer of the Year for Family Advocates.
The Executive Director of Family Advocates wrote:
“She has served on the Board of Directors for a number of years, and is in her third year as the Board President. Nancy provides support and encouragement not only to me, but the staff at Family Advocates, Inc. and her fellow board members. I know that I can always count on Nancy to offer a helping hand or to be there to lend a listening ear. Nancy has a “can do” attitude that is very infectious. She is very insightful and resourceful in her endeavors to increase community support of Family Advocates, Inc. and maintain the stability that is needed to serve victims of abuse. Nancy’s pledge to keep children and families safe in our communities in apparent in all that she does to promote the services offered by the agency.”
