Wisconsin Real Estate Report – November 2020

December 21, 2020

Wisconsin home sales looked solid in November. The number of home sales in November 2020 was 7,581, which was an increase of 15.2% compared to November 2019. Statewide listings were down 30.9% to 20,242 while the median single-family home price rose 15.8% to $223,000. Houses sold quicker this November compared to last November. On average, homes are on the market for 81 days, which is 11.0% less time than November of 2019.

November marks the eighth straight month of record-breaking mortgage rates. Despite a rise in median home price, these record-low mortgage rates have been a driving factor in the increase of home sales. If you’re looking for a home, search thousands of listings on firstweber.com!
